Papa B, Thank you for being you! You were a kind, funny and caring man. You had the best hugs, and you always let us know you loved us. You gave me rides in your White VW Beetle any time I asked. I think my funniest memory is from one summer Kim and I was visiting for a week with the cousins. You brought tacos over to all the grandkids for lunch. The funny part was the tacos were on hamburger buns. I have never seen such a thing before or since, and I will never forget it. From the mind of a little kid, it was so funny looking to see a taco on a hamburger bun! The tacos were still good once I ditched the buns. Thank you for everything. I love you always.

3rd times a charm Papa. I’ve tried to come up with the best things to describe you and why I love you so.

You’re the best papa I’ve ever had in my life, the way you showed me to jump off cars in your arms 10, 000 times and never tire out.

The ways I’d confide in you in high school and you’d tell me in the most modest way to respect my self.

The way I asked you about marriage and you agreed he was the one.

The way you’d have your Coors Beer on a Tuesday when I cleaned after Granny passed & you would piddle in the basement.

The way you always thanked me for taking you to the doctor when it was me who was thankful.

The way we had a bond. I love you Papa! Your “ my favorite “ always!
I love you always! -Shonda
