Always Loved, Never Forgotten...

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Pauline Jones, who passed away on September 3, 2020 in her 98th year. Born a twin on the family homestead in Windthorst, Saskatchewan and weighing less than three pounds at birth she was a fighter who lived a full life. While she outlived all her siblings she leaves behind family and friends throughout North America, most notably her children, Paul (Sharon), Norman (Colleen), Kathy (Peter Hibberd), Chris (Maria), eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In recent times she was a resident at Pinecrest and the family thanks the staff and caregivers for keeping her healthy, happy and safe all of these past 8 years. Of note is the fact that she passed while enjoying a cup of tea during her favorite meal of the day - breakfast. She relished the simple things in life as well as a love for all sports, most notably curling and golf.

Pauline will be laid to rest alongside her husband Bill (W.T) Jones in the Lake of the Woods Cemetery. A family memorial will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Hemophilia Society, Cystic Fibrosis Canada or Pinecrest Home Auxiliary.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown's Funeral Home.

My sweetest lady at Pinecrest. Had the privilege of visiting with Pauline every Saturday helping take people to mass. She was always happy with a interesting story to tell. With COVID I was unable to see her, but she was always in my thoughts. God bless!
