Sure miss you. You were the mother I never really had. Love you.

Barb was a good friend of ours. I first met her working at  Darnall. We both worked in Population Health and she offered to help us with our record reviews. Then she started bowling with my husband for the MEDDAC Bowling League. She was always so much fun to be around. She loved telling jokes and talking about her grandchildren. It was obvious how much she loved her family. Barb stayed at our house and took great care of our two dogs, Bailey and Isabelle, when we were gone. She never said she couldn't do it.  I never had to worry about the dogs when we were gone because Auntie Barbara was on the job and they loved her. When we came home, sometimes she had cooked dinner for us too. She was a good cook and loved to teach her grandchildren how to cook too.  We were so grateful for her help. If it wasn't for her, we would haven't been able to go visit family as easily.  She was such a kind and giving person. Always willing to help anyone who needed it. She will be missed and always remembered. We have another angel in heaven. Our deepest sympathies and love to Chris, Megan, Chris, and Emma and all who loved her. Loved, Patti and Ken Leonard

My condolences to Barbe's family and many loved ones. What a beautiful soul. Barbe led with love & compassion, whatever she set out to do, bringing joy and comfort to all she met, and she graced the life of each person who knew her.

A favorite memory:

In 1991, my daughter & I drove from Atlanta to Nolanville to visit Barbe & Chris. While in TX, the four of us drove to San Padre Island & camped out for a couple of days. Having the kids along to "rough it" on the beach provided a bit of wonder and amusement, as well-there were the amazing sunrises on the Gulf and the kids made friends with a crab they named Sebastian. 

She was one of a kind-the best kind.  Barbe made good things happen-that is who she was & that was what she did.

Barb was such an amazing woman. She took me in and helped me get on my feet. She always tried to help everyone out, she was friendly, but very outspoken. She will always be in my heart. Prayers for the family.
