I didn't know Fred personally, I was a co-worker and friend of his wife, Victoria.
Through Victoia, I learned what an amazing father Fred was. Throughout the passing years, Fred and I would see each other, in passing throughout our community as common fathers do. We would speak about our children and family. I last spoke to Fred at a local store, we greeted each other talked about our kids and he added; how he was hopeful that he would make the cut for a lung transplant. In conclusion. I knew this much about Fred, That he was a good Father and he loved his family. and I sure it's likewise with his friends.
To Victoia. I know words can't fix what you are enduring within your heart and soul. Your kids and family have my deepest regrets. The lost their father, I do know what that is like, However, not as a young child. Reminding the kids that each and every one of you has different bits and pieces of Fred within them. therefore, Fred will never leave them.
God bless you all, as I'm sure God has blessed Fred. "( Like a candle in the wind, not knowing what to cling to when the wind set's in)" Elton John.
Sincerely Phil McCuien.
