Kenneth Rod Conant, 64, passed during the early morning hours of Monday (July 15, 2019) following an extended illness. Kenneth was born on April 13, 1955 in Kingsport, TN to the late William Rod & Elsie Mae (Simpson) Conant.
Kenneth enjoyed the simplicity of life and loved making people laugh. Kenneth was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend; he will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joan Conant; and sister, Theresa Boyd.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Mark Conant; two nieces, Erika Green and Melissa Jones; two nephews, Frank Boyd and Jonathan Boyd; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2019, from noon to 2 p.m. in the chapel at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home at 2 p.m.
Kenneth will be laid to rest on Friday (July 19, 2019) at 3 p.m. in the Christus Garden at East Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
