She was born as an only child to the late Kenneth and Veronica Stahlecker in Carroll, Iowa.
Sandy married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Michael Frank Badura on June 11, 1966, and they first lived in Omaha, Nebraska before relocating to Denver, Colorado, and then to Kingwood, Texas in 1984.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mike and their three adoring children: Nicole Green and husband Mark, of Kingwood, Texas; Brad Badura and wife Deann, of Coppell, Texas; and Bryan Badura and wife Gwen, of Frisco, Texas. She is also survived by nine wonderful grandchildren: Madison Badura, Austin Badura, Brian Brown, Lauren Badura, Ashley Badura, Gracie Brown, Garret Green, Aspen Badura and Emma Green. They were all the love of her life.
Sandy was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother and was immensely proud of her family. She leaves behind beautiful memories, many of which were made with her family while vacationing in Carmel, California. She truly loved Carmel, for its quaintness, residential architecture, and history. She had a true passion for home design and interior decorating, as seen in many of her homes.
