Dear Grandma,
Thank you for your love over the years. You were such a charismatic lady with your bright smile, sparkling blue eyes, and easy smile! When I feel the sunshine on my skin, I think of you. Thank you teaching me how to skin a cat fish, "manage" my eyebrows, and, above all, how to be a southern gal! Shine on in Heaven Grandma! I love you and miss you.

Missing our long chats and shared laughter. What a wonderful time we have spent together. I am indeed the luckiest person i know to have been able to have my life so greatly enriched by all the knowledge and love you have given to me. I miss you Moma, and I am comforted in knowing without a doubt that I will get to see you again when we will never be seperated again. I wonder what stories you must be sharing with all those who were waiting for you there, and I can imagine the joy and laughter that surely you are sharing with them. The thought brings a smile to my face, as I am sure it will from now on. Say hello to Denise for me and give her a big hug. Luv you! xoxoxoxo

My brothers, parents, and I are griefstricken by the loss of Grandma Alfaro. She was always a ready ear to hear about our joys and trouble, and wealth of life experience to give advice from. To each of you touched by this loss, please know that your grief is shared and we all offer the very deepest sympathy during this difficult time.

God Bless you Vivian. You were so loved! Tell my mother I said Hi. You and her were such best friends in the 70's until she passed in 76' and now you'll get to see her and do some fishing! You will be missed by many but never forgotten.

May you find peace and happiness, again in uniting with loved ones from the hereafter. I will miss you and pray that the ache in our hearts will diminish in your memory. As you have loved us should we stand to love one another. I love you aunt Vivian..

She was my sister's mother, my father's first wife. I got to know her after my mother past away. I know this lady as funny, full of love and excitment. I got to see her again after many years this past June, she was just as full of everything that I remembered from years ago. I listened to her stories and shared some memories. It was my gift to see her again. God Bless you funny lady!!!

I am left here wishing for one more camping trip, one more shopping spree, and one more fishing trip, wishing, missing you, but know that you had to go to a more peaceful place without pain or struggle. I know you are fishing, and happily chatting with your loved ones that were waiting for you. One day we will meet again and our blue eyes will share the crinkle. I love you Mom so very much. Be at peace.
