Sandra Isabel Clyne

Sandra was the dear mother of Rob (and Sheila), Chris (and Donna), and Alison, loving grandmother of Merissa, Addison, Sinclair, Laurel, Wesley, and Keagan. She was big sister to Robert (Bob), James, and Patricia. Sandra was predeceased by her mother Doris (nee Thompson) and father James.

Sandra was born on November 8, 1937, in Saint John, New Brunswick, growing up in Lindsay, Ontario. She was a caring teacher for 50+ years, mainly in Peel Region, and enjoyed art, gardening, skiing, and playing bridge. But more than anything, she loved her time with her grandchildren - teaching and listening to their music, watching them skate and play hockey, helping with their homework, playing games, and painting with them.

A heartfelt thanks to her extended family at University Gates. Sandy and her smile and wit will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and her wee dog Topaz. At Sandra's request, cremation has taken place. In true Sandra form, she did not want a funeral, but rather, a party. This will take place at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
