Carl E. Cluesman, age 84, of Knoxville, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 29, 2018 surrounded by family. He was a Deacon at Park Lane Baptist Church and Deacon Emeritus at Shepherd of the Hills Baptist Church. Carl retired from Vineyard Floor Covering after 25 years. He had a love for fishing and baseball which included the Atlanta Braves. Carl loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; Dewey and Bessie Cluesman, brothers; Earl Cluesman, James Cluesman and C.T. Cluesman, sisters; Lucille Wilson and Lois Garrett and daughter; Vickie Major. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Shelby Cluesman, daughter; Debbie Ledford, grandchildren; Christy (Dominic) Hodge, Keith Speer, Elizabeth (Terry) Green and Vada Major, great-grandchildren; Peyton Kiggans, Micaiah Smith, MaLeah Smith, Shelby Kiggans, Chloe Kiggans and Mason Hodge, brother; Darrell Cluesman, Jack Cluesman, sisters; Faye Edwards and Phyllis Dotson. We would like to thank our church family at Shepherd of the Hills Baptist Church for their thoughts and prayers. Family will receive friends, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Berry Highland South, 9010 E. Simpson Rd. from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with funeral service to follow. Rev. Leland Lyon to officiate.
