Dexter Lenear, age 76, of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He retired from Krispy Kreme Donuts. Dexter loved spending time with family, camping, fishing, U.T. football and NASCAR. He was preceded in death by parents, William "Russ" Lenear and Haley (Covington) Lenear; brother, Clarence (Betty Louise) Lenear; sisters, Thelma (Kenneth) White, Edna (Alf) Underwood, Ernestine (Don) Forsythe and Geraldine Lenear. Dexter is survived by brother, Charles (Betty) Lenear; Special nephew and niece, Mike (Debbie) Smith; LeAnn (Chris) Maples and several nephews, nieces and family. Dexter was loved by so many friends and the family wishes to thank them for their love and prayers over the years. The family and friends will meet at McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 11 a.m. and leave in procession to Pollard Cemetery for a 12:00 p.m. graveside service.
