Helen Houser

Houser, Helen of Knoxville, died Sunday night January 9 at Summit View of Farragut nursing home after an extended struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was a resident at Arbor Terrace Assisted Living for a number of years prior to moving to Summit View. She attended First Baptist Church of Knoxville and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a long time employee of Miller’s Department Store. Survived by brother Arthur M. Houser, sister in law Gladys Houser, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister Mary Houser, and brothers Vernon, Cas, Orbin, Paul, and Earl Houser. Receiving friends Thursday 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Weaver Funeral Home with service to follow in Weaver Chapel, Rev. Henry Lenoir officiating.
