Jean Loy Keeney, age 91, passed away peacefully at her home in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Her daughter and caregiver were by her side. Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Sidney "Rocky" Loy of Knoxville; her second husband of 12 years, Jack Keeney of Clinton; and her sons, Bradley Loy and Darrell Loy, both of Knoxville. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kimra and Doug Merritt; daughters-in-law Debbie Loy Caldwell (Rodney), and Cathy Loy; grandchildren, Sydney Jenkins, Lara Merritt, Matt Loy (Andrea), Makenzie Partida (Danny), Rachel Terrier Hill, and Kirby Sellers; 8 great grandchildren; beloved step-brothers Carl, Johnny, and Richard Bailey; several nieces, nephews, and friends; and special Mt. Juliet friends, Tony and Loretta Reda, Moya Leuty, Lucille Thomas, and Heidi Solomon. Jean loved Jesus, and she loved her family and friends. A memorial graveside service for Jean will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
