Your mother was a dear Christian lady with a smile and a kind word for everyone she met. I fondly remember the good times we had with our families when we were young and then the lunches we enjoyed with our mothers and children later on. May our Lord uphold you with His comfort and peace as you miss her in the coming days. Carolyn Monday

Joanne took me in when I was barely 18 years old. Through the years, she was my host mother, she let me crashed at her place during my holidays, weekends and vacations, she lend me her ears during my commutes and on way to clients. She listened to me on everything from boy problems to work problems to kid problems.... She taught me many things, from heating pads to creating a Christian legacy. I used to tell her she had a miracle family. I think she began to realize I know what I was talking about lol. As I vision the trumpets sound and angels singing, I will forever miss her. I pray her miracle family will carry on her legacy for the generations to come!

We will miss Joanne. Our favorite memory is attending Sunday evening bible study at her house. She was always the hostess and had coffee and lemonade made with a small snack. Joanne had great bible knowledge. We learned a lot from her. She would also intertwine stories about her family and her travels. Joanne was so interesting. She is celebrating in our Saviors presence now.

Driving through the Smokey Mountains with her and my parents. Enjoying so many stories of her life she would share. She brought me so much joy as we enjoyed many Chick-fil-A hot soup dinners in her kitchen, it was our favorite. I will miss you so much!❤
