LaMarr, Nancy (McCorkle) age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She is preceded in death by parents, Henry “Mac” and Katherine McCorkle; brother, James (Jerrye) McCorkle and beloved husband of 61 years, Curtis LaMarr, Jr. Nancy loved spending time with family, enjoyed sewing, reading, and playing games, which she usually won. She was a proud and strong lady. Nancy and Curt had a group of lifelong friends they called “The Lizards”. They traveled, had monthly get-togethers, and shared lots of laughs over the years. Left to treasure her memory are daughters, Karen (Greg) Miller and Langley (Bob) Dean; grandchildren, Evan (Alex) Miller, Mallory (Alex) Sherer, Darchelle (Matt) Bates, and Bobby Dean; great granddaughter, Adelina Dean; sister-in-law, Gail Kerr and brother-in-law, James LaMarr; nephews and nieces, especially Greg McCorkle and Vicki Nichols.
