My deepest condolences to the Shoffner Family and friends. I worked with Peggy for about 15 years at the Applied Research Center and I can tell she was a truly an extraordinary person in her personality and integrity. We lost not only an amazing colleague but also a friend who was always very supportive, positive and very professional. I will miss her terribly.

Words cannot express the deep sorrow and loss of our beloved friend and colleague, Peggy. She was always positive, and helpful with the utmost professionalism. Peggy contributed so much to all of us at the FIU Applied Research Center, and she mentored many students over the years who have gone on to have successful and meaningful careers. We have so much gratitude for Peggy and for the positive and meaningful contributions that she made over the years. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her helpful, kind, fun, thoughtful, professional, organized, meaningful difference that she made in our lives. My heart-felt condolences go out to her family and friends.

My deepest condolences to the Shoffner family. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Peggy at the Applied Research Center for over a decade and get to know her both as a colleague and a dear friend. She was amazing at her job and a pleasure to work with, always managing to raise the bar to a higher level. She always had a positive attitude and shared words of encouragement at the most challenging of times, even when she herself was going through her own personal struggles. She had a great sense of humor and somehow always managed to ease stressful situations. It is with greatest sincerity that I say I have never met a more kindred spirit and she will be truly missed.

Peggy is deeply missed by many friends, colleagues, students and those she loved and who loved her back at Florida International University! A professional who was kind, positive, excellent at planning and executing activities and so much more. I am profoundly sad today and I am glad that I was blessed to know and work with her for so many years.
