SARAH JANE CARR age 71 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at NHC Ft. Sanders. She was a member of First Apostolic Church and formerly Prices Grove Baptist Church in Hawkins County. Preceded in death by parents, James Harrison (Pap) and Vina Pearl Carr and brother, Henry Harrison Carr. Survived by sister, Nannie Kate Davis; nephew, Homer Lawson; niece, Geneva Steele; great-nieces, Pearl Ann McLean, Joy Fay Morgan and Elizabeth Lawson; 4 great-great-nieces and nephews; special friend, Brenda Perry. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm. Bishop Billy McCool officiating.
