Vivian Grissom Linkous

Vivian Grissom Linkous age 94, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a member of The Golden Harvesters at Grace Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 74 years, John Murphy Linkous, Sr.; her parents, Ralph H. and Pearl Grissom; grandsons, David Munsey and Robert “Bobby” Bean; five sisters and two brothers. She is survived by daughters, Betty Bean, Susan (Jerry) Munsey, Karen (Benny) Carter, Rebecca “Becky” Bledsoe, Sherri (Ron) Trentham; son, John (Beverly) Linkous, Jr.; grandchildren, Alan (Lawana) Bean, Angela (Lynn) Bolton, Rebecca (Ronald) Gray, Terri Leann Munsey, Jennifer (Aaron) Huddlestun, Julie (Thomas) Meunier, Janet Carter, Jill Bledsoe, Lori Bledsoe, Madison Trentham, Marleigh (Devin) Munsey, Mallory (Brad) Dietz, Miranda (Vic) Nunes, John Linkous, III, Morgan Parker and Myiah Linkous; 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; sister and brother-n-law, Margaret (Earl) Lee; brother and sister-in-law, John (Thelma “Cookie”) Grissom and sister-in-law, Margaret Grissom. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 am Tuesday at Weaver Funeral Home to proceed to East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for an 11:30 am interment. www.weaverfuneralservices.com.
