Dewayne David Flitcraft, 82, of Kokomo, passed away at 5:30 PM Wednesday October 10, 2018. Born February 26, 1936, he was the son of the late Wayne Flitcraft and Grace (Pointer) Flitcraft. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. On April 5, 2000, in Kokomo, he married Kimberly (Chandler), and she survives. He was employed at Meijer for 16 years. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Kimberly Flitcraft of Kokomo; one son David Flitcraft of Kokomo; three daughters Angie (Rick) Blythe and Kim Caine, both of Peru, and Starr Flitcraft of Kokomo; two step-sons Jonathon Parkey and Anthony (Holly) Roberts of Kokomo; one brother Chuck Flitcraft of Peru; three sisters Margaret Hartleroad of Peru, Thelma (Rodney) Packard and Mary Hunt, both of Kokomo. There are eight grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Dewayne was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, two brothers, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday October 16, 2018 at First Church of the Nazarene, 2734 South Washington Street, Kokomo. Pastor Stan Zurcher will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Monday at the church; also one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
