Fern L. Woodring, 92, of Kokomo passed away at 2:10 PM Friday May 10, 2019 at her residence. Born October 3, 1926 in Onward, IN, she was the daughter of the late Jesse L. Snyder and Minnie F. (Snyder).On August 21, 1942 in Kokomo She married Roscoe Woodring. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2000. She was a homemaker and also worked at Kofabco for several years where she was president of the union. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the Reacts of the Eagles. She also enjoyed cross stitch. She is survived by one son C.V. Woodring of Lakeland, Fl; six daughters Fern Fennell (Youssef Beshir) of Greentown/Egypt, Bonnie (Robert) Virden of Ballinger, TX, Cece (Louis) Clinton of Russiaville, Millie McKenna of Logansport, Pam (John) Frazee and Melodie (Mark) Jennings, both of Kokomo; one sister Charlotte Brumfield of Logansport; 26 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Thomas Woodring; one daughter Debbie Cuthbert; two brothers Arthur Snyder and Freddy Snyder; three sisters Rosa Lee, Mary Walters, and Wanita Foss; three great granddaughters Rebekah Conrad, Ashley Virden, and Jessica Roberts. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday May 15, 2019 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor Jerry Markins will officiate. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday at the mortuary. She was a wonderful woman, very kind, funny and proud of her family. I knew her a short time but my memories are good ones. She always tried to keep CV, her Charlie in line! Never did! The family are in my prayers. Terry

I will always remember our freshman year of high school, waiting by Palmers Jewelry for Fern to pick Pam and I up in that old navy blue car after school. You better be ready to jump in when she got to that corner or off she went without you!
