Jo worked for GM for more than 30 years, retiring from there. Everyone knew her as Mamaw Jo. She was a member of Oakbrook Church and enjoyed quilting and sewing. She loved dogs, having had several over the years. They were her babies. She also loved her family and spending time with them all, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Jo was preceded in death by her sister, Sally (Heflin) Lott.
She is survived by her brothers, Jim, Jack, Jay and Steve Heflin; son Chad (Jen) Rose, grandchildren, Ashlyn and Cameron Rose, Kirstin, Whitney and Brody Pierce; special friends Ted Rose and Tom (Doris) Rose and Joan Lapp; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends for a celebration of life at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home Thursday, May 24, from 5:30 – 7:30pm. Casual dress please. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oakbrook Church: Dadcamp, 3409 S 200 W., Kokomo, IN 46902.
