Kenneth McCurry Herring

Kenneth McCurry Herring, age 77, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away on Thursday August 2, 2018 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Kenneth was born July 16, 1941 in Orlando, Florida to the late Asben Herring and Ouida Queen Givens Herring.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Sharon A. Herring; son Kevin Herring; daughter Margaret Ann McBride; and step daughters Jennifer Futrell (Ron) and Toni Schillo; and granddaughter Ashleigh Dahl (Eric), grandson AJ Finton, granddaughters

Alecia McBride, Karin McBride, Savannaha Herring. He had three great-grandchildren.

Kenneth was in the U. S. Navy for 6 years and served on the USS Franklin D Roosevelt.

Kenneth worked for Winter Park Telephone Company and retired in 1993 as Engineer after many years of employment.

A memorial service in LaGrange will be announced later by Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.

Contributions in Kenneth's memory may be made to American Heart Association; and St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
