I was your fifth grade teacher at Eisenhower and was so very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was such a fine person, good-natured, and always willing to help with parties, field trips, or whatever needed to be done to make our school a better place. I always enjoyed talking with her when she would come back for a visit. She was very proud of you.
With fond memories,

Your mother was one of my favorite cousins and we spent a lot of time together as children. She was always fun to be around. I also remember her as a cheer leader with a baton. And, she was good with that baton. She was a good woman and we know you will miss her. No one can understand why those we love leave us too soon. But, you can be sure you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jimmy & Rebecca 9-28-12

This message comes to you with my deepest sympathy to say so manay warm and caring thoughts are there with you today. And may it somehow be a help and comfort just to know how often you'll be thought of through the days that come and go.
A mother;s love is a special gift that will live forever in the heart of her child. She will be missed and remembered always.

I am one of many Mitchell cousins your mother had. My parents were your Great Uncle Bill and Aunt Isabel Mitchell. My dad was your grandmother's sister (and my Aunt Anna). I spoke on the phone with your mom earlier this week and could tell she was very weak but we still had a nice phone conversation.
May she rest in peace.
Love and prayers for all your family in your loss
