He was born to the late Lonnie Sr. and Grace Marshall Tincher in Garrett, Kentucky on March 15, 1942.
Lonnie was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and served in the US Army. He had a passion for restoring old log cabins, including the one where he raised his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Robert Tincher and Toby Tincher Howard.
Left to cherish the memory of Lonnie are his wife of 54 years; Shirley Slone Tincher, children; Loveda Lynn Calvert (James Eric) and John Bradley Tincher, 4 grandchildren; Emily Lawson (Stephen), Aaron Terry (Michaela), Jesse Tincher and Becca Zadorozhnyy (Vasily), 3 great-grandchildren; Max Lawson, Eli Lawson, Benny Terry and one Lawson on the way, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Lonnie's Life will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 11am with burial to follow at Valley of Rest. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4-8pm.
Memorial donations can be made in memory of Lonnie to The Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA).
