I worked for Ashful and Theresa at the ice house bar after hurricane Rita and before hurricane Ike ! He was an awesome boss he would always cook for us and my favorite was his white beans ! I also lived across the street from them and would ride home with them after closing the bar ! Ashful was a hard worker and never complained when we asked him to do something and he was funny and told us stories I'll never forget ! RIP Ashful you will be greatly missed !

Mr. Ashful was always kind and generous. He use to bring starters and alternators to our shop. Always enjoyed his stories and jokes and his prospective on life. He will be missed by many people. Mr Ashful say hello to my Daddy Glen, when you get to Heaven, We always enjoyed your visits and will forever remember you.

Ashful was a very kind and respectful man. When I was an LSU AgCenter/Sea Grant Extension Fisheries Agent in Cameron Parish from 1978-1992, Ashful often came onto my office seeking ways to improve the fishing industry and master his commercial fisherman craft. He was always very friendly and caring. May he Rest in Peace forever in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. He and his family are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss. God bless.
