IN THE CARE OF

J. E. Hixson & Sons

Autry was born on December 1, 1938 to George and Elizabeth Authement in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. He was a commercial fisherman from Cameron, La and as he would say "I had a good life doing what I enjoy".

He is survived by his sister Barbella Cormier and husband Silton Cormier of Scott, La, daughter Renee Rogers and husband Robert Rogers, grandson Dillon Authement, granddaughter Shanna Rogers, granddaughter Skylar Rogers, and great granddaughter Paislynn Burge all of Mineola, Texas.

Autry is preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers and two sisters.

Autry was cremated in Van, Texas. Visitation will held at J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home Chapel of Lilies on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 12pm until 2pm

A Celebration of Life Service led by Hixson Celebrant Jody Barrilleaux will begin at 2pm.
