Joyce Buller

She was a lifelong resident of the Lake Charles area and was of the Catholic Faith. She was a 1948 graduate of St. Charles Academy, a dental assistant for many years, and she owned and operated Routt’s dental equipment and service. She had a fondness for children and a great love for animals, especially German Shepherds.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Landry, Claudette Skellham, Margaret Landry Higgins and husband, Carl; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Gladys Alexander Buller as well as a brother, William Darphin.

Her funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles beginning Friday from 3-10 p.m. and again on Saturday from 8 a.m. til the time of service.
