OBITUARY

Diana Sherburn

April 19, 1946December 26, 2020

Diana Sherburn, age 74, of Lake Odessa, Mi. died peacefully on the morning of December 26, 2020 after a heartbreaking four-year battle with dementia. She was predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Mildred Robinson, and her younger brother, Eric Robinson. Diana was a beautiful and classy lady, whom everyone loved who came to know her. She will be sorely missed by her loving husband of 48 years, Robert; by her daughter Jamie Schrenk (Dennis); stepdaughter Elizabeth Sherburn Demers; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. There will be no memorial service. Dementia is one of the cruelest diseases a person can contract, for the patient and for the family around them. Please donate, in her memory, to the Alzheimer’s Association of America.

Diana was so kind and a good friend. I was so glad I got to know her at Mackenzies Animal Sanctuary and when we went on our Friday lunch and movie days. My prayers are with the family. I know Diana is at the Rainbow Bridge saying hello to all of her furry friends.

My thoughts are with all of Diana's family and friends. I really enjoyed talking with her when she would come out to volunteer and I would also go to lunch with her and some of her friends on occasion. Diana was such a loving and kind person to humans and animals. She will be missed.

It is with great sadness I learned of Diana’s passing. While in some ways a blessing for her it is a tragic loss for her family. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. I knew Diana from Mackenzie’s and as a neighbor. She brightened every day when we met, taught me about patience and grace, and always made a difference in her gentle and giving way. You have often been in many of our thoughts Diana, will never be forgotten and will always be cherished in our hearts. My condolences to the family.
