John Joseph Gregurek

John J. Gregurek, 85, of Shelby passed away on July 26, 2022 at his daughters’ home in Clarksville surrounded by his family. John was born in Kalamazoo, MI to Frank and Goldie Gregurek on April 24, 1937. John retired from St. Lawrence Hospital after 44 years. John, besides his devotion to his late wife Anna, loved to rustic camp, traveling, going to casinos, fishing and being outdoors. The family will forever remember his dry sense of humor and dead pan delivery of Dad jokes. He will be dearly missed by his children; Sherri Gregurek, Terri Gregurek, Joseph (Cher) Gregurek, grandchildren Cheyenne Gregurek, Mariah Gregurek, Sierra Gregurek, great-grandchildren Emilia and Zander Rocha. John was preceded in death by; his wife Anna, parents Frank and Goldie, siblings Frank Gregurek and Sylvia Post. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
