Eileen Desposito

Eileen T. Desposito, 81, passed away October 2, 2011 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Mrs. Desposito was born in New York City; she lived in Dumont for 30 years before settling in Lakewood for the past 25 years. She was a graduate of the Mother Cabrini High School. Eileen was very active in the Leisure Village Organizations and the Ocean County Democratic Committee as a Committee Woman. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Desposito is predeceased by her parents Martin and Nora Gallagher and 11 brothers and sisters. Eileen is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frank, three children, Eileen Katchuk and her husband Richard, Nancy Day and her husband Timothy, and Frank Desposito Jr., one granddaughter, Danielle Desposito, three step-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren, one sister, Lillian Kaufer of Stafford Township, and numerous other family members.
