Sarah made every person who ever walked through Intermediate East loved and respected. She could see in us what we often could not see in ourselves. That is why students and faculty members alike revered her so. She was an amazing teacher and an even more amazing human being...

As a fellow neighbor, Sarah would do anything for you. If she thought that there was a need, she would offer her assistance which certainly made her a kind, generous, caring and thoughtful person. This flowed over to a wonderful family. Her laughter and remarkable "sneezes" will truly be missed!

I grew up across the street from the Schaefer family, and my parents still live there. I'd like to extend my condolences to Mr. Schaefer, Greg, and Leah in their time of loss.
