On a hot beautiful Wednesday evening in Houston, Texas on July 22, 1970, a loving baby girl, Dechelle Aundrette Bryant was born. She was born to Clarene D. Brown and Hamon Bryant. She was the baby girl of six girls. "Dee Dee" as she was fondly called by family and friends was a loving and caring child. She was educated in the public schools of Galveston Independent School District where she gained her knowledge and skills to prepare her for the world. Dee Dee was so caring for others, that she devoted her time to cooking. She worked at Mainland Center Hospital in the Food and Nutrition Department for four years before she was called home to be with her heavenly Father.
