My daddy was an amazing man. He was many thing's...a loving teacher who not only taught me right from wrong, he also instilled morals and values in me that have shaped me into the woman I am today. He was my hero, he taught me about the bible and to have faith and how to be strong during difficult times, and to do for others, even when your family is in need. My daddy was a very spiritual man who would sit and read his bible to me, and answer any questions I had, he got me started on my own path to salvation and for that, I can't thank him enough! He was also the 'fun dad" , he would sit down with me and my most "precious " stuffed animals and have tea and cookies (until the end, my daddy loved cookies!),load my babydolls into the car, and let me pretend to drive my kid's to school, or the store while he watched from his swing on the front porch. Ahhhhhh, how he loved his swing!!! What I'm going to miss the most is when I'd go in and wake him up...I'd say Hi daddy, and before he'd ever open his eyes, a big smile would light up his face and then as he would start to open his eyes, he'd always say "hey dollbaby". I can't believe how much I already miss him, and it's not even been a week. I do want to thank my Heavenly father for blessing me with such an amazing man that I'm honored and proud to have called daddy for 81 years. Until we are reunited again, all my love, Nikki.
