Bernard "Bernie" Leon Deyarmond, loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, age 73, of Bath, Michigan passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday March 21, 2018. Bernie was born October 28, 1944, in Norfolk, Virginia, where his father was stationed with the US Navy. Shortly after his birth, Bernie moved to Nashville, Michigan with his parents where he lived for many years. He married Judith Green in September of 1963. Bernie started Town & Country Plumbing & Htg in 1984, which he continued to own and operate until the time of his passing.
Bernie lived a life full of love, surrounded by his family and many friends he gained throughout his 73 years of life. He loved being with the people and things he loved, on the beautiful farm and home he built over his lifetime in Bath, Michigan. Bernie enjoyed farming, hunting, and spending time riding around with his beloved dogs Susie, Sophie, and Charlie. Bernie was most proud of being a great-grandfather.
Bernie was proceeded in death by his parents Bernard Deyarmond Sr. and Leona Deyarmond and great-granddaughter Torey Lee. Bernie is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Judith Deyarmond, his brother, Dennis (Coleen), his son, Scott (Michelle), his daughter, Sharon (Greg), his grandchildren, Brad (Kimi), Kristyn (Nathan), Jessica and Taylor, as well as his great-grandchildren, Trinity, Delaney, Hayden, Oliver, & Payton.
Bernie's family will be celebrating his life privately.
