Tim was born on March 24, 1945 to late Cletus and Audrey Davenport in Berwick, PA.
He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged with the rank of Specialist E-4 from December 1962 until March of 1965.
He will be missed by his loving wife Jan of 46 years. He was the best father anyone could ask for to Steve (Ruth) Knight, Sharron (Willy) Page, Kim Knight, Paul Knight, Cassie (Joe) Cassel, Allan (Cyndi) Davenport, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Tim has several brothers and sisters that he loved.
Tim had a great sense of humor and a big heart. He loved family and friends as well as woodworking, horses, motorcycles, and U of M football.
Soar like an angel in heaven, Dad, so you can reunite with your parents and grandson, little Michael.
A memorial ceremony will be held April 15th, at 2:00 PM at Calvary Church, 3006 West Jolly Rd., Lansing, Michigan 48911. Tim's wishes for donations to be made to the church.
