Allan Horn Jr.

67, of Redington Shores, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Al was born on October 4, 1945 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Allan & Martha (Mercer) Horn, Sr. He moved to this area in 1985 coming from Kalamazoo, MI. Gifted with a deep voice, Al worked as a professional Announcer and Commercial Producer of narrations and voiceovers for radio, television, video and multi-media. He loved to sail and play his guitar. Al enjoyed writing short stories, carving and painting. Al is survived by his loving wife Margo Horn of Redington Shores, FL, a son John (Patricia) Horn of Kalamazoo, MI, a daughter Michelle (Scott) Gates of Port Richey, FL, a stepson Eric (Lynn) Lewis of Largo, FL, a stepdaughter Lori (David) Siegel of MD, four grandchildren Zachary Horn, Thomas Newhouse, Ashley Gates and Breanna Gates, five step-grandchildren Shauna, Jacob, Zakri, Ari and Daniel. Also surviving is his father Allan Horn, Sr. of Mt. Dora, FL and a brother Jim (Jen) Horn of Kalamazoo, MI. Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
