Marion was born to the late Malvina Survilla- a loving devoted mother, in Floral Park, New York on March 28, 1931. Her sister Beatrice Eason and nephew Joseph Oper were important people in Marion’s life while growing up in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated High School and was a book keeper for Woolworths Department store after graduation. Marion was blessed with a loving family and host of friends.
She married the love of her life; Alphonse (Al) T. Curcio on December 30, 1950. They moved to Burlington, New Jersey in 1962. Marion and Al helped each other raise two children with love, patience, and kindness. They often took family trips to see many places like Canada, Connecticut, Colorado, Niagara Falls, Williamsburg Virginia, Washington DC, Florida, Seaside Heights and Brigatine Beach to enjoy the ocean and beach activities. From the very beginning, Marion was devoted to her children, family, and friends. Marion loved spending time with everyone.
Marion was immersed in taking care of her family her entire life and became a school crossing guard in order to be able to take care of her two girls in their youth along with her mother. When Marion was 46 years old, she went back to school to become a LPN- a life-long dream of hers. Marion was in the top of her class at the Burlington Vocational Technical School and the Valedictorian. She loved nursing and excelled in this profession until retirement. She loved wearing her nurses’ cap and was proud of this accomplishment.
After retirement Marion, Al and Christine moved to Florida to spend the rest of their lives in warmth of the Florida sun, to enjoy the beaches, sunsets, and above all vacationing in Disney World.

Clayton (Maurice); her grandchildren, Bryan Nicholas Clayton and Taylor Nicole Clayton; her niece, Anna Mae Oper; her great nieces and nephews, Joseph, Donna, Robert, Deborah, and Brian; and her longtime friend, Caroline (late James) Durham and her children, Maria (Jeff), Roy, Kathy, Karen, Jeanne (Ted), Carol (Charles), and Amy (Scott); along with their children, whom she also considered grandchildren- through the friendship that grew over the years on Yubas Avenue with Caroline; and a host of family and friends.
