Claude Davison

have a memory or condolence to add?

Eric & Kathy Jordan

February 24, 2021

We would like to express our deepest, heartfelt condolences to Aunt Nell, Mark, Tony, the entire Davison family, and the entire Fisher family regarding your beloved, Claude, whom we called, “Uncle” Claude.
Although we are not blood kin, we grew up with Uncle Claude and Aunt Nell’s kids, nieces, and nephews, enjoying family events, and the pleasure of one another’s company. You should know, just as we have shared in joy, we also share in your sorrow, and we pray God give you strength to endure in your time of need, and a wealth of wonderful memories to keep in your heart.
How I will remember, and miss Uncle Claude’s warm greeting at the door, with his beautiful smile, and in a quiet but genuine way, I can hear him say, “It’s good to see you all.” I reply, “It’s so good to see you too!’ Until we meet again Uncle Claude, Rest In Peace, and in the comfort of our great and mighty Lord!
With Sincere Love & Devotion,
Eric & Kathy Jordan, and family

The memories of our beloved brother in-law Claud Davison are vast and many. One that stands out is when he, Nellie and infant son Tony visited with us during our military tour in Germany. His family and ours visited numerous other European countries and had an old fashion good time. Claud you will be sorely missed as a respected and loved brother-in- law and a very good friend.
Rest In Peace Claud, we love you but God knows best.

When I bought my first house, Uncle Claud built a brick barbecue grill & smoker in my backyard so that whenever I would want barbecue that I could make my barbecue using his recipe—yes, he shared his recipe. He and Aunt Nell traveled all the way from Las Vegas to Long Beach so that he could build it for me. That meant so much to me. Although, I no longer live in that house, I have never forgotten that.

Claude was a very dedicated person to his position with the City of Los Angeles for over three decades. In addition to his regular job, he would take on extra work to provide a better life for his family. He wanted his sons to experience the American dream that folks from other countries strive to obtain.
Our family,(The Fisher Family) will be eternally grateful to Claude and my sister, Nellie, who found it necessary to bring our father, Arthur Fisher, from Arkansas to live with them after the loss of our mother Carrie Fisher. They had to do some remodeling for safety for our father to live in their home.
We were proud to have him become part of our family. May he rest in peace.

I love you all so much. Claude could build anything, he was so amazing with his hands, he was so quiet but when he spoke it was always something profound! I’m so honored to have been a part of this family for all of these years.
Thank you for all of our times together

To Nellie and the family, Aatia and I send our love, prayers and sympathy to you at this difficult time. It was always a pleasure to talk with you Claude over the years, he never missed calling at the holidays or sending sweet cards. I remember meeting both of you for the first time, when Randy and I came to California. It was nice to finally meet some of his family, and I could see such a resemblance between Randy and Claude. I just regret we never got to make it out there, especially so Aatia could meet her great uncle, whom she shared a birthday with. We will never forget the love you guys showed to us. May GOD bless and keep you during this time and always.
