Our beautiful Daisy Hinajon went home to be with The Lord on the morning of Monday, March 23, 2020 at Centennial Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Daisy Gertudis Rivas was born in Managua, Nicaragua on November 18, 1929 to Antonio Rivas and Pilar Bravo. She was a fashionista who loved to travel & has lived in numerous places throughout the U.S. such as; North Carolina, Brooklyn NY, San Francisco CA, Long Beach CA, Oxnard CA & Las Vegas NV. Daisy was a working woman who spent a significant amount of her time in Oxnard working for Goodwill Industries, Press Courier & owner /operated Su-Sea Family Restaurant in Port Hueneme, CA. Daisy is survived by the love of her life Reynaldo Hinajon (Honey) whom she married in 1967 in Ventura, CA. Reynaldo blessed her with her two youngest children. Her children: Sandra Prewitt (Leon-late), Alex Ruff, Tony Ruff (Lily), Joe Espino (Dolores), Rosie Espino (Keith Marecheau-late), Luisa Moraga (Phillip Jr), Reynaldo Hinajon Jr. & Cristina Hinajon. Her grandchildren: Susie (Mark), Sherry, Tony (Jessie), Anthony, Reina, Mareah (Ross), Melinda (Glenn), Phillip, Felicia, Priscilla, David, Christopher, Erik, Daniel, Sabrina, Isaiah, Talaya, Alyssa, Jared, and Amira. In addition to immediate family, Daisy is also survived by numerous family and friends. Daisy lived her last 20+ years in Las Vegas with her husband & the majority of her children. She enjoyed shopping, visiting casinos & dinning out with family. Daisy was a big fan of sports, she enjoyed horse racing and her favorite sports teams were 49ers, Warriors and Lakers- Kobe Bryant was especially her favorite. She loved spending time with her children & grandchildren as she was the matriarch of 5 generations. Daisy & Rey have been married for 53 beautiful years & enjoyed celebrating their love with family and their doggies & cat. Daisy was and remains the heart of our family, her spirit will guide our lives and we will honor her forever as she rests with the Lord.
