In loving memory of our Mom, wife, grandma, aunt, sister and friend, Eileen O'Connor. Born in South Buffalo, New York in 1943, Our Mom grew up in western New York, packed her bags in 1967 and headed west to Las Vegas to marry our dad, Ray O'Connor. With the exception of a few years in the late 70's, Las Vegas is where she called home.
Mom endured a lot over the years and never complained. She was a strong woman who loved without end. There were lots of laughs, there were tears and yes, we even mixed it up every now and then; nevertheless, she always loved us, and that will never end, even though her time here is done. Mom, enjoy the peace in heaven and tell Uncle Pete we said 'Hello.'
Eileen is survived by her husband Ray; daughter, Kelli, both in Las Vegas; son, R.J. in Colorado; brother, Jim in Florida; two sister, Margaret in New Hampshire, and Kathy in California. 'Grandma O', as she was known, so loved her grandkids Andy and Tim, who are both active duty military, and Matthew and Caitlin, who are still little ones. She became a proud great-grandmother to Oakley and Mercer in the last few weeks of her life.
A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor on Tuesday, July 22nd at 5:00pm at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89108.
