Joseph M. Misurelli

Joseph M. Misurelli, a retired Home Improvement Contractor passed away on June 11, 2018, his 68th birthday.
Born June 11, 1950 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, he had lived there until moving to Las Vegas three and one half years ago. He graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School and attended Gateway Technical College in Kenosha. In 1980, he was a member of D.E.C.A Marketing Club and took first place in Sales in the Wisconsin competition and one a trip to New York to compete in Nationals where he took 14th place in the country. He loved visiting New York and it remained one of his favorite cities, alongside Las Vegas.
Joe loved people. He would be best described as having a passion for life and compassion for people. He enjoyed making personalized key chains and giving them to doctors, nurses, patients and friends he met. He also made candy gift bags to give out to special people.
Joe’s biggest passions by far was promoting his son's business and creating a bright future for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Michael Misurelli and his brother in law, Greg Johnston.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Laura Misurelli and his son, Joey T. Misurelli; sisters, Marie Johnston, Sandy Arneson, Donna (Dave) Becker; three nephews: Arnie, Steven and David; two nieces, Andrea and Claudette; nieces and nephew-in-law: Jessica, Aurora and Joshua and great-niece and great-nephews in-law, Jocelyn, Jordan, Carter, Zack and Isaac.
A memorial mass will be held at 11am on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2224 45th St. Kenosha, WI, 53140. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be appreciated. Las Vegas arrangements entrusted to Palm Southwest Mortuary.
