Thank you for sharing your memories of my dad


So sorry to learn of Marvin's passing. I just found out. I lived next door to Marvin for 23 years in Brooklyn. Our families were close and friendly and we all cared about one another.

Marvin was six years older than me, so as children we didn't have much to do with one another. but when I was older we frequently
double dated. I would introduce him to my friends and he introduced me to his.  We just had fun. I remember when he bought his first car. He took me for a ride and then tried to park. The car did not have power steering and it was very  hard to turn the wheel to park. He kept saying that his next car must have power steering. So many memories!  I remember when he met Rita and I met my husband. We were so happy for each other.

I don[t remember his father, but his mom was an extremely nice person.  My thoughts and prayers are with you Rita and the rest of your family. Marvin will never be forgotten!!  Suzanne Stern

Dad was a great man. He loved his family. Was a great provider. He worked many years on Native American reservations in AZ. He was a multi time senior Olympian.  He loved sports and poker nights. He taught me to play cards and we liked watching the Mets. Fly high. No more pain.
