Sam was my tax man and advisor for the 32 years I was with the Clark County School District.  We had such fun talking about music education and the exciting times we had in the classroom as music instructors. During my last tax appointment with Sam he shared an album that he recorded with his High School band.  
    Sam and his humor kept me excited for years while anticipating having my taxes done. I now miss Sam greatly 😢 as we did have some fun engagement during our tax meetings.  What beautiful memories I have going to the different offices Sam and Gudie had in Las Vegas and Henderson to file my tax returns.  I am missing Sam greatly however, I must say great job! and thank you 😊 for your excellent tax returns.  Condolences to his family!

Not a day goes by that I don't look across the street at the house where Sam and Gudie lived and miss knowing that I was sharing this world with two such wonderful people.  I've never even seen the people who live there now....which makes me treasure the memories of their friendship even more, since Sam and Gudie were one of the first people to walk over and introduce themselves when we were all aoutside one day not long after we all moved into the area.  I remember going back into the house and thinking what delightful, warm, vibrant people they were, and that opinion only grew fonder as the years passed by.  I miss you two, and my world is better for having known you.    Fly free and weave another dream together.

Met Sam in July 1981 at the Oakwood Apts by the Las Vegas Country Club, it was at the pool (aka the 19th pool) that many of us met that summer. We all became fast friends and not just friends but best friends. Almost every night Sam would make his special daiquiris and everyone brought snacks.  Our friendships grew and lasted through the years. I remember when Gudie came into Sam's life and how happy she made him and the positive influence Gudie had on Sam. Sam was a wonderful person, the best friend anyone could have, and loaded with kindness. Sam will be missed by one and all and everyone Sam touched will have hole without Sam. Our deepest condolences to Gudie and the family. Rick and I have known Sam  for close to 40 years and have wonderful memories of our many dinners together and especially our times up at the cabin with both you and Sam.  He was always ready to offer a joke or two and he usually made them up, but always gave us a good chuckle. May Sam Rest In Peace and we pray you find comfort in your memories, family, and friends. We love you ❤️
