Thelma A Hillock

Thelma was born in Espanola, Ontario, Canada on June 13, 1935. She was raised in Paris, Ontario, Canada where she met and married the love of her life, Ronald Henry Hillock on February 18, 1954. In their early years they moved to California where Ron joined the Air Force. This gave them years of living in many locations throughout the United States. They spent many years in Alabama and then returned to California (Loma Linda), where they lived from 1972 – 2013. Thelma loved her family and was the center of most Hillock family gatherings. Her nieces and nephews were always welcome and they were well fed. Thelma was a woman of faith and remained a member of the Loma Linda University Seventh Day Adventist Church even after her move to Las Vegas. She would faithfully watch the church service every Saturday.

Thelma is survived by her children: Janet (Joe) Barone of Wallingford, Connecticut; Ronald W. Hillock, M.D. (Debby) of Las Vegas, Nevada and Dawn Hillock of Las Vegas, Nevada. Her grandchildren Christopher Johnson of Las Vegas; Andrea Barone of Bellingham, Massachusetts; Michael (Rachel) Barone of Rocky Hill, Connecticut and Zoe Hillock of Las Vegas, Nevada.
