James Richard Auman, 76, of Lebanon, PA, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 6, 2011 with his family by his side. He died in the Select Specialty Hospital in Harrisburg, PA. He was married to Gloria L. DiGiacomo Auman with whom he was married to for 51 years. He was born March 20, 1934 in Lebanon a son of the late Franklin S. and Erma Feeman Auman. He was a retired tinsmith working for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation in Lebanon for 30 years. He served as the sexton for the last 15 years at the Calvary Church of Lebanon. James served on the USS Dealey while in the US Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, golfing and spending time with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Susan wife of Kenneth Null and Eddie R. husband of Michele Auman both of Myerstown, PA; Sherry wife of Dave Reager of Fredericksburg, PA; Lisa Springborn of Mechanicsburg, PA; James Springborn of Lebanon, PA; grandchildren, Larry, Derek, Kurt, Lauren, Brendan, Madison, Adriane and Aaron; great grandchildren, Ethan, Kya and Jadyn; sister, Nancy wife of Richard Klepper of Lebanon, PA. He was preceded in death by brothers, Frank and Eddie Auman and granddaughter, Denise. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 7:30 PM in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA with a viewing beginning on Thursday at 6:00 PM. Family requested a private burial at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
