Karen B. Ashbrook

Karen M. (Bentz) Ashbrook passed away on July 24, 2018 in Florida where she has resided for for 15 years. Karen was the wife of Lonnie Ashbrook. She was born on Jan. 7, 1949 in Lebanon and was the daughter of Robert A. Bentz and Genevieve (Baylor) Bentz. A 1966 graduate of Lebanon High School, Karen began her career as a legal secretary and later was an administrative assistant for the American Lung Association. Karen enjoyed cooking and baking to the delight of many. She is survived by her husband; her father, Manheim; sister, Gayle Bentz, Harrisburg; step-children, Leigh Jones, Ohio and Eric Ashbrook, California; seven grandchildren; and grandnieces, Danica and Madelynn Moyer, Harrisburg. She was preceded in death by her mother, her brother, Timothy Bentz, and niece, Kelly (Thierwechter) Moyer. Memorials donations in her honor may be sent to support Parkinson disease research. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:30AM at Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland St, Lebanon, PA17042 with final interment at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery 12:30 p.m.
