Billie Joe Littlejohn

Billie Joe Littlejohn, 87, of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. He was born in Caldwell County May 27, 1935 to the late Russell Everett Littlejohn and Ruth Owens Littlejohn.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Littlejohn Miller and brother, Jack Littlejohn.

Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carol Norris Littlejohn; son, Bill Edward Littlejohn or Lenoir; grandson Russell Davis Littlejohn of Charlotte; brother, Larry Littlejohn of Lenoir, and several nieces and nephews.

Bill proudly served in the US Army. He was a member of Mount Hermon United Methodist Church. He retired from Everett Chevrolet after 40 years as a service advisor.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 11:00 am, at the Mount Hermon United Methodist Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request memorial contributions be made to Mount Hermon United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 625, Hudson NC 28638.
