Anthony was born on December 20, 1946 to Anthony R. Asan and Jane Asan in Philadelphia. He
attended Nazareth Academy Grade School and then Abraham Lincoln High School. After graduating
high school, he proudly served in the United States Army from 1966-1968. After his service, he was a
machinist for many years until he retired.
To know Bobby was to love him. He was strong willed but had a huge heart and told the best stories.
His true passion was music. He had an appreciation and love for instruments and how music was
made. He would sing to the Grateful Dead and make everyone smile. He was also a very talented
artist who impressed his teachers with his gift. He could read for hours and talk about everything and
anything. His other passion was old cars, motorcycles, and the old drags. He gave and taught that
passion to his sons and they inherited his love and talent to both build and ride. He always loved a full
house and never turned anyone away. However, the source of his joy, comfort, and love was his wife
Pat.
Bobby was predeceased by father Anthony R. Asan and mother Jane [Budzichowska} Asan.
He is survived by his soulmate of 53 years, Patricia {Orr} Asan. He is also survived by his son Gene E.
Asan and wife Dawn, and son Tony R. Asan and wife Maria. He loved his three grandchildren Ryan,
Aubri, and Anthony as well as his great grandchildren, Jayden and Jacob.
Burial with full military honors will take place on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. Please be in line at the main office by 12:45 pm.
