

Charles L. Ferguson, Sr. Charles L. "Lee" Ferguson, Sr. of Morrisville died on Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Veterans Home in Philadelphia. He was 81. Born and raised in Morrisdale, PA, Mr. Ferguson was a long time Bristol Township resident until moving to Morrisville 5 years ago. Lee was a diesel mechanic for Hackett Engineers for over 30 years until retiring in 1990 and he was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 542. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church where he worked on the "blue" buses for over 30 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Ferguson is with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; his son, Barry; his brother, Kenneth and his parents Ralph and Winifred who all preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 57 years Elizabeth P. (Williams); his 4 children, Sharon Patton (Earl) of Langhorne, Charles L., II (Debbie) of Henderson, NV, Robert of Morrisville and Renee Schilling (Dave) of Morrisville; his 8 grandchildren, Kim, Robbie, Charlie, Kristina, David, Kaitlyn, Cara (Chris) and Chad; his 3 great grandchildren, Kalli, Kylie and Kaden, his brother, Harold Ferguson of Allport, PA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 1515 Wistar Rd., Fairless Hills follow by interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
