OBITUARY

Joan M. Wells

Joan M Wells 1944-2021 Greene-Joan Wells (Nana), 77 of Greene passed away on August 22,2021 at the home of her caring and loving son Dennis whom she had been living with. She was born on August 11,1944 to Heman and Irene Wallace. She was a graduate of Sanford High School in1963.

On August 24 ,1963 she married Linwood Wells, and shortly after started a family where they had one daughter and two sons. Joan was a homemaker for the better part of her life with a short stint selling advertisement for a local Newspaper. Joan was always willing to lend a helping hand at what ever task you might of had, especially carpentry. She also loved to spend time with her family especially with her grandchildren whom she adored. She also loved to provide delicious meals at every holiday.

Joan is survived by her daughter Debbie Arsenault and husband Jimmy, two sons Doug and girlfriend Tina and youngest son Dennis, Also surviving are grandchildren, Jason Arsenault and Fiance Nikki Blouin, Deanna Witas and husband Neal, Linden, Dustin and Darien Wells and David and Kayla Splude, and three great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Joyce Alden and husband Benjamin, Nancy Gendreau and husband Robert, Milton Wallace, Rita Allison, Ruth Sevigny and husband Richard, Glen Wallace and wife Celia.

Joan is predeceased by her parents Heman and Irene Wallace, her husband Linwood on July 4 2010, her daughter-in-law Amie Wells, and siblings sister Jacqueline Jackson, brothers Edgar, Carl, Paul, Richard, and Jerry. The family would like to send a special thank you to Angela for all the help and support , and being there for the family.

Visiting hours will be held from 1pm-3pm on September 1, 2021 with an in-house service to follow, at The Fortin Group, 70 Horton Street, Lewiston, Maine 04240
