Karon and Gaetan were one of many couples my parents got to know while camping at Taylor Pond. They were camping "neighbors." Karon was always so friendly and loved to chat with my mom, which continued well after their camping days. I appreciated Karon's friendship with my mom. Her passing was such a surprise and it came too soon. Karon was a sweet lady who appreciated the simple things in life and always had kind words to share. She will surely be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. I send my love and heartfelt sympathy to the family.

I was one of the blessed acquaintances of Karon. She chose to send a cross stitch card and picture of Prince to me every so often as i spent months in treatment. It was working with Charlene and seeing her personality that gave me insight to Karon. Frustrating with stubborness, at times, while caring at all times. Charlene shared some wonderful stories and I know will forever keep them close.

I have spent a lot of time with Karon over the years that we have been neighbors. I will never forget the hours we spent together sitting on her front porch. She is such a kind hearted person and was such a great friend. She will be surely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Gayton and Charlene and the rest of the family. Rest In Peace my friend.
